In our final semester at Fanshawe, we were given a live client project with London’s 427 Wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The museum exists to remember those who served in Canada’s airforce throughout history, and specifically those from London and the 427 Wing. This project also served as a competition in the program, with the class competing to create the best branding and website to be used by the museum

We were instructed to build a rebrand for their London Aviation museum, including a new logo, new branding, new website, and advertising through posters, videos, and social media. The focus was to remember those who had served, creating a virtual museum and virtual resources for people to learn more and get involved.
We first established what our goals with the project were, which was to mainly remember those who served and provide information to the public. We established brand characteristics and basic branding, then created brand guidelines, a logo, and website designs.
Once the basic layouts and branding was completed, we began work on advertising and the actual website, creating posters, social media posts, and video work. My role was creating the documentary, social media work, and video banner ads.
This project was a really good introduction to real-world client projects, giving me a better idea of what to expect when it comes to working in professional teams with actual clients, as well as the competitive nature of the industry. It was also a really nice send-off to college as I moved into the workplace
